"Two years ago my 14 year old son was stung by several yellow jackets and about an hour later had a rash from head to toe and itched terribly. I called the emergency room and gave him benadryl immediately, which helped in about half an hour. The Doctors at the emergency room told me to call our Doctor Monday morning and get a bee sting kit for him to carry with him as after having a reaction like that the next time could be worse and he could have difficulty breathing or die.
I did as they suggested and he carried the bee sting kit around for a year when I found out that Dr. Bruce Nelson could treat him for allergies. I had him do so and we did not know if it worked until last week.
My son went on a 50-mile hike into the Bob Marshall Wilderness with the Scout troop in July 2001 and could not find his bee sting kit to take along. So he went without it. He was stung four times while there during the week and did not have any reaction whatsoever. He did not break out in a rash or have trouble breathing or anything. I was sure thankful Dr. Nelson had treated him. It sure proved to me that the treatment worked great.

"After visiting several orthopedic specialists, and medical doctors for symptoms of achy and swollen joints, fatigue, and immune system problems, out of pure desperation we contacted Dr. Nelson in August of this year. Each of our six children, as well as myself, all seemed to have struggled with the same symptoms of aches and fatigue. In addition to the symptoms of Fibromyalgia , we also have a son with Asthma and two children with Insulin Dependent Diabetes. The chromium that our son is taking for his diabetes has also made a great deal of difference in regulating his blood sugar and preventing any hypoglycemic symptoms as well. An added benefit came to my husband who has had allergies most of his life. He has been unable to eat fruits with citric acid without severe swelling in his throat. He is also allergic to dogs and cats., It has been a pleasant surprise for him to be exposed to any and all of these things without any type of reaction.

"For the past fifteen years I have doctored with specialists in Calgary, Edmonton, and Red Deer. My condition steadily worsened as time went on. My trips to emergency were frequent and at times I was hospitalized for a week to ten days, going through series of tests. I was plagued with severe headaches, and had to be confined to bed for three to four days at a time.
Through friends, I heard about Dr. Bruce Nelson, in Kalispell, Montana. In April 1992 I made an appointment to see Dr. Nelson. By this time I was practically unable to function. Getting out of bed in the morning was a real effort. By 10:00 a.m. I was exhausted and had to go to bed for a nap. Three weeks later in May I was riding my bike again, taking my grandchildren on nature hikes, and back to doing my household activities. My family and friends cannot believe I'm the same person. Our family doctors cannot believe the improvements I have made. They are simply amazed.
